The energy efficiency report provides a SAP rating for the property, and highlights
improvements in the energy efficiency.
Originally part of the home information pack, the energy performance report is still required as part of the selling pack that is provided by the estate agent.
The report is posted on a central register and can only be accessed by the RRN number. The practice can undertake single or multi property instructions.
The following areas of a property will be assessed:
- • Construction of the property
• Insulation in the loft space
• Cavity wall insulation
• Window type
• Boiler
• Type of hot water
• Type of electric meter
• Type of emersion heater
• Type of heating timer
• Light bulbs
• Other energy saving equipment.
The property is fully surveyed and a sap report is provided and included in the pack.
